Experience of growing
At the beginning the first group members could not stand stably with high-heeled shoes, but now they even can walk united goosesteps with 7 centimeters healed shoes, which already became a wonderful view in our school. With lots of sweat and tears they grow up. In order to stand like soldiers, they must stand for almost 3 or 4 hours with a piece of paper between their legs. Although the training is so boring, they still persist every day.
Pain and joy
They never forget looking for fun though painful training. They make friends with other counterparts in other universities and compete basketball game. In this summer vacation, they visited Jin Gang mountain. On the way, they were singing and playing games. They climbed mountain wearing uniform, attracting many visitors’ attention. Through this journey, they got joy and warmth.
Pain and friendship
When grade 2005 of freshmen had military training, during raising flag ceremony, national flag members stood half an hour in the sun. One member even fell. When other members saw this, the monitor said firmly:“Dot move!” They got round this fainted member and continued the process. Some members thought the monitors was too cruel, but she said:“we are national flag group members, even if someone falls, we can not be nervous.” Actually when they got round the fainted member but could not help her, all of them felt sorrowful.

苦中有乐
训练虽然辛苦，但他们也不忘在苦中寻找乐趣。他们与外校国旗班联谊，并开展篮球赛。今年暑假，他们还一起游览了井冈山。在去的路上，他们唱歌，游戏。他们穿着军装爬山，参观革命圣地，吸引了众多游客的眼球。在这次井冈山之行中，他们收获了快乐，收获了温暖。
苦中有情
在05级新生军训会操的升旗仪式上，国旗班的队员们在烈日下站了足足半个小时，一位队员由于体力不支晕倒了。当队员们听到跌倒声时，班长谢佳利同学却坚定地说了三个字：“不许扶！ ”他们绕过那名晕倒在地的队员，继续着升旗仪式的步骤。有些队员说班长太狠心了，但谢佳利说：“我们是国旗班，我们肩负着升旗仪式的使命，即使队员倒下了，我们也不能慌乱。”而实际上当他们绕过晕倒的队员，眼看着一同并肩作战的战友晕倒了却不能扶，他们比谁都难过。
